Google Cloud Print apps land onto Windows desktop

Now with the help of Google’s new app, you can get to the Cloud Print service from Windows applications that are capable of printing. To enjoy the Google Cloud Printer service you need install the printer-driver software for the Google’s online printing service. After installing the driver, you can print your documents, PDFs, excel sheets, and even photos via the Google Cloud Print. When you want to print files, you’ll see an option that says “Google Cloud Printer” in the print dialog box. Previously, to print your files you should send them to the remote printer by the Chrome browser; now you can print from any apps.

When you come to the printing interface, the dialog box will ask you about the device you want to do the printing job. The device may be an Android phone or a tablet or a real printer.  Once you’ve chosen to print a document with Cloud Printer, a Chrome dialog box opens in a separate window asking you to pick which of your Google Cloud devices you want to receive the job.

There is a little problem. The Cloud Printer sometimes may have some compatibility issues with the modern UI. Then you should print with a Chrome browser. And the modern UI applications would not show you the dialog box for you to select a printer. The BUG may be fixed in the formal edition.
