Samsung announces Xpress C410W color laser with NFC

Samsung released two color laser printers with near-field communication (NFC) function on Wednesday, the single-function printer Xpress C410W for $229 and the color laser multifunction printer Xpress C460FW MFP for $399.They are available until next week.

The new technology–NFC allows the user to print through a simple touch. The technology makes the print easier.

The C410W provides you with the basic color print function, while the C460FW MFP can do the same thing that the C410W does, and can provide the additional scanning and faxing. The printer can print 19 pages per minute (ppm) for black print and 4 ppm for color output. There is a 150-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet output tray. The printers’ toner capacities can last for 700 pages for black and 500 pages for each color. Replace the cartridges can also last 1,500 pages for black and 1,000 pages for each color. But the costs for per page may be high to replace cartridges. Because the work style is the cheap lasers They are suitable for home or small-office users.

To compete with the SAMSUNG’s products, Brother announced the MFC-J870DW printer–an NFC-equipped inkjet multifunction printer two weeks ago.
