Blackberry previously announced that it will put up for sale, and it has also released an official statement to this end, saying that âThe Company’s Board of Directors has formed a Special Committee to explore strategic alternatives to enhance value and increase scale in order to accelerate BlackBerry 10 deployment. These alternatives could include, among others, possible joint ventures, strategic partnerships or alliances, a sale of the Company or other possible transactions.”

The industry believes that the current problem may stem from the following five big mistakes:
BlackBerry 10âs delay release
RIM changed its name to BlackBerry when launching the BlackBerry 10 operating system. But this does not cover the phenomenon that the company has always been delayed releasing of new products. Blackberry released BlackBerry 10 delayed than the scheduled time for several months, not for weeks. Thus again and again it discourages the expectations of consumers. Consumers will ultimately abandon the BlackBerry.
Lack of Apps
BlackBerry 10 finally came to us earlier this year. We were impressed with the gesture navigation and the all-in-one Hubs. However, a lack of apps became the major problem. BlackBerry promised to solve this problem. But seven months past, things as usual.
Hardware
BlackBerry launched the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 smartphones with BlackBerry 10 OS. But they had no competitiveness comparing with others.
Currently these two smartphone sales are disappointing, even smaller than Nokia WP8 smartphones
PlayBook
Another failure factor of the company is from the Tablet PC market. Blackberry has launched the PlayBook, which is configured as a good operating system, but the price is very expensive. In order to meet the market, Blackberry had to reduce the price of this equipment, but ultimately leading to the companyâs losses.
Enterprise
There was a time when BlackBerry was very brilliant in the field of enterprise users. Blackberry also became one of the industryâs standard. But then came the iPhone which added better web surfing and apps. BlackBerry began to be ignored by business users. At the moment, the BlackBerry still seems indifferent, and thus lack of innovation, and ultimately defeated.
