Microsoft released Windows 8.1 preview version on June 26. The version was based on listening to some dissatisfactions of Windows 8, restoring the Start button and allowing the user to access direct to desktop mode.

One release means one death. It’s not too long for Windows XP “retired”. Microsoft admitted that for the individual PC users, since dependence on the old habits of operating system, how many people willing to upgrade is still unknown.

According to incomplete statistics, at present the number of PC with Windows XP system is still as high as 500 million. Once the system stops updating, users will no longer receive security patches and vulnerabilities update packages.

For many individual PC users, operating system upgrades mean changes in habits as well as a different experience; but for enterprise users, it includes data migration and other aspects of system equipments.
