Gesture control: MOTO X camera app leaked

It becomes the focus when the MOTO X is released. For one thing, the smart phone is Motorola’s first product after fusion with Google; for another, the phone has distinctive features that make it standing out in various mobile phones.

Appearance and configuration of MOTO X have been exposed before. Now I have the smart phone in my hand and I have got the leaked camera app installed. In my experience, the MOTO X has an obviously different style from the previous Motorola’s Android phones. It is more like the enhanced version of the native Android system — with plenty of gestures instead of button operations.

MOTO X has no shoot button in order to maximize the viewfinder frame. Sliding from the left side to the right and setting menu will appear, while from the right to the left will enter your gallery. This kind of design makes viewing extremely simple, but requires the user to adapt to.

MOTO X has simple camera gestures for you to use, tapping the screen to focus and take pictures, sliding the screen up and down to have the digital zoom. Comparing with two fingers to achieve zoom mode, this setting is more suitable for single-hand operation. The app also supports HDR mode.
