How to make your computer run more smoothly

System optimization is always a hot topic. When your computer feels obviously slower than it first installed, you need a clean up for it.

“One key optimization” program is not a panacea. Every computer user’s habit varies widely, and operating conditions are not the same, so the reasons for slow are also respectively different. One key optimization tools, while easy, but is not necessarily able to do best.

First, you should abolish all unnecessary programs that automatically run, even if you need the program to run. After the system starts up, you can run those programs manually.

Many people complain about the booting time getting longer, but never paid any attention to the number of automatically loading applications. Most of these applications are not what you want to use when you start to run. Except security software, these programs that start automatically will always run in the background to your shutdown, whatever you need them or not. Thus not only increases the start-up time but also vainly occupies system resources, so we can abolish these programs to start automatically.

Second, avoid various toolbars and applets.

Toolbar is another big drag to the speed of your system and network. It consumes additional time and resources for browser to load these toolbars. Today’s browsers have built a search box and support custom search engines, so there is not necessary for additional toolbars, just uninstall those toolbars.

Some programs will install some sponsors’ small programs during the installation process, and they are installed by default and runs automatically, unless you do not select them during installation. Do not click directly next step is a very good habit.

  Third, regular maintenance will help.

People will drive their car with regular maintenance, so do computers. It helps to prolong its life. For example, regularly performing disk defragmentation and disk cleanup allow the hard disk read and write more efficiently.
